Our Story

Thirty years on Charles Street.
Now at the heart of the market.

Narayan Thapa came to Baltimore from Nepal in the early 1990s. For three decades, his Mount Vernon restaurant was a quiet favorite — the kind of place food writers called “the best little restaurant you've never heard of.”

In 2024, Narayan brought the family's recipes to a new home: Stall T23 at the historic Lexington Market — a fast-casual counter built on the same flame-cooked naan, hand-folded momos, and slow-simmered curries.
